Exploring Pathways in Skilled Trades & Innovation

The Black Caucus Foundation of Michigan (BCFM) proudly hosted its Construction Science Expo, on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026 at the Durfee Innovative Society in Detroit, bringing together students, educators, industry professionals, and community leaders to explore careers in construction, skilled trades, and emerging technologies.

This hands-on event provided participants with real-world exposure to high-demand career pathways and highlighted the vital role of construction science in building stronger, more equitable communities.
